Safety in pipeline chemicals transportation is a major concern, as these products have high risk potential for the environment and, in some cases, to life. Asel-Tech systems can be applied to many different chemical products due to the use of special sensors for each specific application. Even when transporting aggressive, corrosive, heterogeneous, abrasive, highly viscous or toxic products, the system can still be installed.
In 2014, 212 incidents were registered involving hazardous liquids (except oil), totalizing 29.100 barrels spilled. Asel-tech systems can contribute to minimize this volume, by its fast actuation and location accuracy that enhances emergency plan actions.
